We are special people who have a heart-felt love for helping seniors enjoy a happy and healthy lifestyle in a beautiful, supportive environment focused on socialization, good food, good health, safety and independence. We are more than just a "pretty face." We offer our families the peace of mind that that our residents receive the most professional medical attention around. Our full-time RN, two full-time LPNs, our house Physician, her Nurse Practitioner, her Physician Assistant and our 24/7 Certified Nursing Assistants ensure the best care. We also offer consistency in care with our next door neighbor, Olde Knox Common, if our residents need temporary and long term rehab or skilled nursing care. All of these things combined have made Ranson Ridge a top choice for senior living in the Lake Norman area since we opened early in 2016.

We are owned and operated by a single individual rather than a corporation. Our owner, Mrs. Linda Howard, is a dedicated RN first and foremost. Her heart is in the right place to make sure our residents are our number one priority.
Our Name...
We proudly take our name from the Ranson family whose great-great grandfather, Dr. Alexander Ranson, purchased 160 acres of Huntersville land and started the Huntersville Associate Reformed Presbyterian Church in 1874. We celebrate our Huntersville hometown heritage! Joe and Linda Ranson reside on Ranson Road and are our special guests at many of our functions.
Our Location...
Ranson Ridge Assisted Living and Memory Care is conveniently located near rural Ranson Road between Exit 23 and Exit 25 off I-77. St Mark Catholic Church and Torrence Chapel Elementary School are located just blocks away. Our sister community, Olde Knox Commons Rehab and Nursing Center, is located next door. Between Ranson Ridge and Olde Knox Commons we can offer a place for mom or dad...whether it be assisted living, memory care, skilled nursing or rehab.
Our Pricing...
We are aware of the financial strain good quality care and accommodations can place on a family. We promise to provide Ranson Ridge residents the highest quality options with the lowest costs possible. Included in the rental rate are three meals a day, snacks, phone service, cable TV service, internet, housekeeping, and medication management. There may be a level of care charge (LOC) for additional care that might be needed. You will not be charged a separate medication management fee. We do have a very reasonable one time buy-in fee. We are a private-pay community and do NOT accept Medicaid, although our sister community, Olde Knox Commons, does. Call for more details regarding our current rates.

Calling ahead to schedule a tour ensures that Cathy, our residency expert, will be totally available to share pricing and details regarding living at Ranson Ridge. Weekend tours are available by appointment only. After you are provided your first guided tour, please feel free to "pop in" anytime afterwards to get a second or third look.
